Participating in the Spitfire Audio Bridgerton Scoring Competition was a creatively rewarding experience. Reimagining the opening sequence with a fresh orchestral take allowed me to blend period elegance with a light, inviting tone that captured the show’s charm and wit. I aimed to strike a balance between sophistication and playfulness, using rich textures and lively rhythms to support the visuals while giving the music its own narrative voice. It was a great opportunity to explore character and tone through orchestration, and to engage with a broader creative community around a show known for its bold musical choices.
